We believe that getting the right mobile data platform in place is one of most significant technology decisions any organisation will make. Deploying and supporting a time critical, robust mobile solution is highly complex, and we believe that our customers need to be able to choose the most appropriate solution for their organisation.

Mobile data should be seen as an extension of the core business transation systems, over time more and more functions will be mobilised and an organisation needs a flexible platform that can adapt and grow as each new requirement presents. The supplier of the backoffice systems may provide a fully integrated offering, or it may be more appropriate to work with a specialist mobile data partner who can bring the necessary expertise and experience to bear.

Whatever the right solution, investing in mobile as an extension of scheduling is clearly not strategic and whilst it would make selling much easier for us to provide a complete solution, we do not believe it is the right thing to do so is not something we will ever develop.

Xmbrace has strong partnerships with a growing number of excellent mobile data providers and our goal is to make it as easy as possible to integrate OPTI-TIME with whatever mobile data solution our customers choose. We will only actively recommend systems we have seen successfully deployed with one or more of our customers and we can work with these approved partners to provide a complete solution as prime contractor if required.

Mobile working to us means the seamless combination of dynamic scheduling and a real-time mobile data system - the business benefits that flow from getting this right dwarf the costs involved and Xmbrace will continually work to give customers the maximum possible choice AND seamless implementations possible.
