InMotion

INMOTION2008 held on the 22nd of April this year at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire was a huge success with over 350 attendees.

The day gave delegates the opportunity to network with other people in similar roles, facing similar challenges in the housing industry and included 20 presentations from various housing organisations, as well as 22 leading technology providers.

Listen to what some of the attendees had to say:

“I can honestly say that it was the most effective event that I have attended in terms of networking.”  - John Barnes, Operations Manager – Maidenhead & District Housing Association

“It went very well.  It was very interesting, the venue was good and easy to get to and there were a lot of different presentations which were very useful.” – Sue Hutchings, Procurement Manager – Birmingham City Council

“In terms of other events I’ve been to, InMotion2008 rates very highly.  I liked the flexibility of the event.” - Alison Davies, Development Officer – City of York Council

“There was an easy pace to the day.  Some conferences you are rushed, but the layout of this event was just right.” – Julia Crook, Client Manager – Erinaceous Property Maintenance.

“It was a really good day.  It was very informative and helpful.” – Sarah Griffin, Systems & Performance Team Leader – Greenfields Community Housing

“As we are looking to implement mobile working in the very near future, InMotion2008 was very good and informative. The event was very well laid out and it was dead right for the amount of people that were there.  Also, having the technology providers there gave me the chance to talk about products in depth.” – Mark Tuff, Responsive Repairs Manger – North West Leicestershire District Council

“We enjoyed it and thought it was worth-while.” – Allen Small, Team Leader - Aberdeen City Council

“I thoroughly enjoyed it.”  - Dominic Gaskill, Maintenance Services Manager - Wessex Property Services
